zou san, lei ho ma, li gor gei duo qin?...these are phrases in cantonese i learnt from mum 1 day before i fly off to Hong Kong. time flies, i'm back from the 5 days of exchange already.first day,27 nov- i was super excited to once again go on board SQ 862! dad, mum and tidus sent me off at Changi Airport.
arrive 3 hours later at HOng Kong, did all the misc and the first place we went to was to board the one way tram and then to the wax museum and a ghost house. super scary! aha
eh afterwhich we went to a shopping mall and do u know that in HK, the sky is dark
around 6 plus. haha.its as if 8pm ..and the first day was super cold with the wind blowing!! never experienced such a cold weather!!!
afterwhich we went to Avenue of Stars and watched a lazer show. Finally checked into our hotel! (Regal Oriental Hotel). our room no. is 403! staying together with joanna and alvina! (:
went to somewhere near the hotel for dinner. Honkies have their dinner only ard 9-10 plus. we were super hungry lah.
day 2-went to have Dim Sum breakfast,proceeded to History Museum.
went for lunch and arrived at an university- HKIEd. we played rather badly.maybe its nervous or not enthu. lol. took the bus to Mongkok where the famous Ladies Street is. shopped for a few hours but i didnt buy much although things were rather cheap.
Day3- ate breakfast at another restaurant and rushed to a prestigous college- TWGH WOng Fut Nam College. their band was superb and awesome. they have junior and senior band!! (: rawks man. got to know and mingled with the percussionists there and a special impression is a guy called Nathaniel. pro percussionist..though he's only 12 yrs old, he's in the senior band! check this out!
then, there's another college which is next to it called Munsang College. it's either a christian or a catholic school.the students are like our secondary 1-4.. thus, they are younger than us and their standard can say is rather ok. the percussionists are fun loving ppl! (:
went to space museum. was rather boring caz not very interesting but we tried moonwalking. it was tough! then we went to Kimberly street to shop! woots i LOVE SHOPPING! bought jacket,top and Dior stuff for Xiaoling.
Day 4- we performed at HK Disneyland!! yayness. was awesome performance and we each received a cert and some souvenirs from them. then we spent whole day playing there and shopped as well. this is my second time to Disneyland but first time to HK's!
Disneyland's spectacular fireworks starts at 8pm and it was super nice! (:
Day 5- we went to URA Gallery and we were super tired thus didnt pay much attention to the person talking. lol. *guilty* but anyway we shopped for the last time at some shopping mall where all the outlets are and things are rather cheap. I bought a pair of Adidas soccer shoes for Tidus and thank God it fits! (: finally checked in at the HK airport and boom! here i am, arriving at Singapore at nearly 11pm. reached home ard midnight!
this trip is superb! although the itenary keeps changing! lol. many things happened both bad and good and we learn from mistakes and we improve from the good things! (: through it all, i made new friends especially with the juniors- beiyu, qiuyin, yujia,honour band and kailing! (: they were with me throughout the 5 days! you guys rawks! and thanks to Joanna, Alvin, Alvina and Rachel for their lil ms Sunshine soft toy!! i know that YJC band is gonna improve by leaps and bounds after this trip! jiayou for SYF 2009!
